good pics and videos.........
i just came across this thread after watching youtube videos.
look how many more people go on sundays. although a little crowded, its full of action.....
if any of you guys want to go back i'm down......
a long time ago, i was above san Gabriel reservoir,
and the reservoir was waaaay down.. (drought)
and i was out on the mud flats on a 250 Husky WR
(that should be a clue as to how long ago it was)
and i was going about 65 across the mud, and almost
made it..... broke thru about 25' from the edge of the
reservoir, went in up to the underside of the tank.
a strap won't always help... it took six of us about 4 hours
to get the husky out.. when we did, the mud ran off it
and it stood up without a kickstand.
the 4x4 with a camper that was 30' further out was another
thing altogether.
took it home, split the cases, redid everything. welcome to
off roading....
i went there last sunday..........you can have all the best recovery gear but if you let people who dont know how to get you out, this is what happens......... don't let this happen to you..............
