I decided it was time to start my build.
Here is the back story:
My truck was originally my grandfather's. He bought the truck from Earl Long in Joplin, MO in the early 50's. He drove the truck many miles. It then became the truck to feed the cows out in the pasture. My father was the last to drive the truck in 1964. He was out feeding cows and ran a stick through the radiator. It then sat out in the pasture for 47 years. It sat in my dad's field until Oct. 2011, when we then moved it to my house. We have been slowly working on it since then. (As a side note, my grandfather died 5 years before I was born, so this will be a tie to him that I never had.) We are setting the truck to be a weekend driver.
More to come.....

My plan is to look like the original from the outside, but improvements to the inside. I wanted a 302/c4 upgrade. Looked on the usual places for several months. I bought a donor 1973 Ford maverick in Nov. for $500. (great deal)
The car had no title, but it didn't matter. On the x-mas break, we gutted the poor car. The body was toast, but the motor/tranny were in great shape.
