Your 46 1/2 ton cab looks exactly like my 42 1-1/2 ton cab. I'm thinkin that the floor is as well.

47 project

not bad for 65 yrs old sitting in field, I have been working on my 47 Merc since grade 10, ( 1967) sent it to Edmonton with a friend that repainted it inside and out with Endura, in 1978, he never assembled it, I brought it home 4 yrs ago and finally got it drivable last fall and registered this week, it has a 48 8BA 1 ton motor. decided to sell it.,house needs windows.

Fender update

Well,
I've been quietly working on the fenders. I bought a sheet of 18 gage steel and did some modifiying to the 1 1/2 ton fenders.

All in all they look really well:

Had to patch one spot:

More fender pics

Almost finished product:

It wasn't bad, I just spent probably 4 hours "stitch" welding!!!

I still have more "smoothing" out of my welds, then time for the next step!!!

I used my little Snap-on mig welder. I also spread my 4 hours on stitching throughout the past couple of weeks. (15 minutes here, 15 minutes there)
