Hoping to have their record rated "high", how about The Guess Who's:
Made the Top 10 in 1974.

No, but the word "who" is in the name of the band that did this song.

OK, back to the late 50's, early 60's.
Done by an L.A. based band that's generally considered "doo-wop", but really doesn't fit that mold. King Curtis did a lot of their saxaphone work.

You've got the group, but not the tune. Here's another clue; what's this lady doing?

I think I have it.
I missed the photo of your "Sharp Dressed Man" above, and I was commenting on the post from Sean above it when I mentioned three wild crazies..
It all makes perfect sense now....... I think.........

Yes, is this love.
We just got back from camping earlier this week with the granddaughter and stayed off-line.
Had a great time.

How about this picture?
It's an artist who grew up back east, worked at a University where he planted a tree, now named after him.
This song took two days to write and is the opening tune on this album.
Elvis was a big influence, helping to motivate him growing up, this song too.
Pop and Old Black Cat hears or sees several of the words in this song daily.
