the F250's are starting to creep up in wantability. (I made that word up). There are several now on Craig's list for around 3500. Interestingly enough, the ones I've looked at lately are in better shape than you find in the F100's not really sure why,, but seems like not near as much rust etc.

Thumbs up 1955 "F250"

I know the owner was using it as a daily driver until he fell ill earlier this year, but would this be a smart investment? For some reason I seem to recall that F250's only came as a "long" wheel base at that time? I know these are newbie questions, but I feel a little lost right now. Thanks in advance for any responses!
Hi, I Really LOVE that style "F250" in 1955 REALLY COOL LOOKING.... I hope you purchased it because that is a pretty good deal at $3500 for a running Truck. I POSTED some picture's of my 58 F250 up above and I Purchased it for $1500 NOT RUNNING and in need of TLC pretty bad, I have put allot of elbow grease and $7000 into it so far and it is still a "WORK IN PROGRESS" but it is a Daily Driver now. When you come across a running one like that you have to jump on it fast because they are great Trucks and VERY EASY to WORK on, also EASY to find parts. GOOD LUCK

An old timer told me once to buy as much as you can afford. For my two cents, I would buy it. It looks clean. And...if it runs well without any problems, then do it. Ask about the brakes, if the gas tank was ever changed, and check everything and ask all questions. Keep us posted on the engine, trans, and interior. Thanks.
