Hey Chris, how bad are allergies in CO, for us allergy sufferers? Oklahoma is supposed to be the worst state for allergies. I think we're ready to move. My whole family, especially my little boys are suffering from this crud.

Heya Gary, I think i felt some of the rain on my way in to work yesterday. I was gettin nervous since i was on my motorcycle. But the few drops i got hit with helped to keep me cool for that 20 min commute.
We're supposed to get some rain tonight. ***Fingers crossed.***

We got a little bit here. Looks like it was enough to wet the pavement and fences. I feel bad for the people in/near Mannford. Doesnt look like they got any of the rain. Their wildfires are still raging.

Got just enough rain here to dampen everything. Had to find my jacket, this 95 degree temp is refreshing.

Couldn't we buy medals cheaper than that?

lol. 'Now that's funny...i dont care who you are."

I was pleasantly surprised that their super complicated hovering rocket and cable release system worked. I'll be honest; i was betting it wouldnt have worked. Shame on me.

I read some info today that we've been exploring Mars with machines since the 1970s. I had no idea. Just imagine if the rovers have been dropping earth plant seeds since then, just to see if something would grow.

I was curious about the complex set of things that all had to go just right, at the right time, so I watched a live feed from the control center. VIA the internet.
After the celebrating began from a successful landing, there was a "Holy sh&t" heard in the background. At that moment, I was expecting to hear that something had not gone right. But, it was just an overly excited nerd, using the harshest language known to their kind.....

Finally! I'm sitting in the sun room with the windows open and it is chilly. Weatherbug says it is 68 degrees, but it feels like 50. I know you'uns have had a few cool mornings of late, but I've been in TN visiting the year-old grandtwins so didn't get to enjoy it. Back last night and am enjoying the cool and a cup of coffee. Now if we can just get some rain!

Looks like a little break in the weather, I even got a little wet yesterday, I'm glad because the next week I'm up at the lake digging in the electric service for the new development, I did not want to be on the trackhoe in that 115 degree heat. The little bit cooler temps are brining the deer into my back yard which in turn is making me think about the up comming deer season.

I didn't get a "little wet" yesterday, I got soaked. But, I was up in KS visiting Dad and they had a downpour. Drove all the way home in rain last evening, but we only got .05" here. However, the grass is already showing some signs of turning green. May have to mow again this summer.
