It has seemed like a real long road to just get to here like longer than that highway through northern texas i think 40 yeah longer than that and still goin lol
I know what you mean, my cc is stripped down to the bare frame. I got the frame painted and ready to start bolting all the brackets and suspension back on, but every time I think I'm gonna get to work on it, some thing else comes up.
I'm hoping to paint my whole truck black next spring - maybe i'll do a 2-tone black and silver look similar to yours, though... probably won't do door jambs and everything, but i will pull the bed, lights and grill since i'll be swapping those anyway.
Just curious - did you have any rust to deal with prior to painting?
how about re-sealing cab seams? my only rust is on my passenger side cab corner, which i suspect is coming from a bad gutter seam up above, which in turn is coming from tired, old cab mounts (i suspect). i'd have painted the truck already if it wasn't for needing to deal with all of this (and glow plug issues) first.
I had rust above the passenger side dually fender thay i cut completely out and put a patch panel and driver front fender i replaced other than that truck was rust free big reason i bought it was cab corners rockers and floors were solid not even a spot of surface rust
