Morning Indiana and all of our IN friends!

Yeah...we had some more storms move through our side of town about 6pm or so last night...we got a pretty good dumping of rain...but it was VERY spotty throughout the county...we were fortunate to get close to an inch I think...the plants and grass really need it!

Fortunately we didn't lose power this time...but apparently Joe and 9,999 others did yet AGAIN!...the power company still had ~5,000 folks without power before last night...still digging out and now they have more piled on top of them.

I watched the news last night...one woman was waiting since last Friday for power...she got it today about 2pm...and yes...you guess it...she lost it again at 6!!!...man that's hard luck!

Today we'll be flirting with our ALL TIME record high...they are predicting 106° today...that will tie the ALL-TIME record again...we tied it last Thursday so it is now a 4 way tie (1936, 1936, 1988 and 2012)...they are thinking we may touch 107° to take the all time lead...you know what...that's one record I don't need to break!

Looks like we'll also possibly break another record tomorrow...we have NEVER had a 4 day string of 100°+ days...today will make 3...and they are calling for 102° tomorrow...again...another record I don't need to break!

Well...Hope everyone enjoys their Friday...we've got today and tomorrow with some massive heat...then it looks like we'll be back into the upper 80's...man does that sound sick that that sounds GOOD to me!!!

Have a great one.

Joe.

Oh yeah...

Have you guys heard about this virus that is supposed to shut down some computers this coming Monday?

WANE TV ran a story last night and posted this website DCWG | DNS Changer Working Group they have a scanning software that will tell you if your computer is infected and if so...I think they have software to repair it...

I scanned all of our computers and they were clean...just passing along some info...

Joe.

Yeah, AZ is usually very low humidity... except for early August when they get some monsoon moisture. My sister says it is down right miserable then with 100+ temps and humidity thrown in by the monsoon.

We are actually low humitidy by OUR standards here...only in the 30's...

They claim that is what drives the heat up...since we are in a drought and have such dry ground...the humidity is low...with low humidity it allows for higher temperatures...Never heard that before...but the weatherman was explaining it on TV the other night...havne't done any research to prove or disprove what he said...all I know is I AM HOT and i want it to STOP STOP STOP!!!
