How much stuff can you pack in the saddle bags and trunk?

Have you guys decided whether you'll be able to make it to the Black Hills that weekend?

You planning to stay at Ellsworth?

I'll give you a Cliff's Notes version. My brother in law & his former co-worker got off of work early one friday afternoon. So, my brother in law was driving his former co-worker home & all the sudden... boom the car got hit in the left front because the dumba$$ driver in the car that hit him and his co-worker was using the GPS function on his cell phone ! I posted something like this in last month's BS thread (towards the very beginning).

I can get our rain suits, leather jackets/pants, and some other stuff in the side bags. The trunk will hold some clothes, and the rest will go into a large travel bage that attaches to the luggage rack on the trunk. My wife will only be riding for 4 of the 9 days, so I'll end up with more crap than she has.

Still haven't made the final decision on the trip out to the hills. We are leaning towards staying at Ellsworth since it is so darn cheap, and nicer than any of the places in Hill City that have rooms open.

Good evening Indiana and Ford fans everywhere! Hope you all have a great Tuesday. It's hot here in Central Illinois but the humidity is the killer.

Morning Indiana and all of our IN friends!

Gonna be a little cooler here today...only 91° but lots of humidity.

We've still got about 50,000 folks in the area without power!...crews are here assisting from surrounding states to try and restore power...

If you get some time...take a read about the derecho wind event that I posted about that hit Fort Wayne last Friday...it is kind of interesting stuff...!

I hope everyone is having a good week...it is kind of nice here at work...the program manager is on vacation the next two weeks so it is kind of like the rest of us get an in plant vacation!!!

Tracey and I were working on the food menu for the RV trip...so things are coming together nicely!

Have a great day everyone...I'll check in later!

Joe.

As long as you stay on the western side of SD, you'll be fine Joe... Can't help you out over here, it's all Pat's fault.
