Afternoon guys. Sons came over and we finished pulling up the old kitchen linoleum and under layment. Sub-floor renailed, now to think about the oak installation.

I brought up about 1400 sq ft of white oak from Virginia, that we put in son's house. Had some left over and bought some more that we'll put down in the kitchen.

My x-b in law put down bamboo in his house and it still looks good after 30 + years.

WOW, I didn't know they used it for flooring for 30 years, I like my place. I get alot of compliments & I did it all myself, as usual

the stuff I used is 3/4s thick
