How to increase Cargo Carrying Capacity, F-250 vs. F-350

I have a 2009 F-250 XL SCAB, SRW, LB, 4x4, AT, 6.8L V-10.
I would like to increase my current cargo carrying capacity of 2,800 lbs. to carry about another 900 lbs on the 5th wheel hitch.
What are my options to safely do this without having to trade to a F-350?
Thanks to all replys.

Technically, you can't change the capacity no matter what mods you do.

If you want to reduce how much the truck sags, there are several options. F-350 rear blocks, (this will lift the rear by 2") An add-a-leaf, Air bags, or Timbrens.

Also, an F-350 will not "safely" tow or haul more than your F-250. The F-350 has a higher GVWR on paper, but the only real difference between the two is the 2" taller rear blocks. Other than that, the F-250 and F-350 are identical trucks.

To be honest, If you are talking about a pin weight of 3700 lbs, you really should have a dually. That weight will even put a SRW F-350 over it's rated capacity.

my pin wt is 2800 lbs right now on my F250. There is no way I'd add 900 more lbs...couple hundred maybe but not 900.00

So you want 3700 pounds of pin weight? Your trailer weighs 18,500 pounds?

Ya'll missread my question.
The cargo carrying capacity is the combined weight of passengers, dogs, gear, firewood, aftermarket acessories, 5th wheel hitch and the pin weight. Currently I only have about 1,800 to 2,000 lbs at the pin. The reason for the question is that we want to trade a bigger 5th wheel in a couple of years. Thanks

don't exceed your front/rear axle ratings and don't exceed your CGWVR.

Don't exceed the ratings and the tires. There's your limits.
