Actually just came across your build thread today... Looks pretty awesome man! Got me thinking it may of been easier to do my swap that way! HUMMMM that would og gave me mucher nicer brakes and suspension! My wheels are turning! LOL

 

if you made the wheel adapters why is there an extra set of lug holes?

I'm not normally a fan of vintage trucks that have been "updated", but the workmanship is so good and the result so professional looking, I have to say that it turned out to be one awesome truck!

 

I'm swapping a 00 Lightning Drivetrain into my 65 F100. I'm curious what did you do for fuel pump/tank. I'd like to get away from the in cab tank. I have a complete lightning fuel system, but theres no way the tanks going to fit..

 

VERY nice truck!! I going to be doing a '70 F100 short bed flare side with a 5.4L Triton, CV front suspension/steering, and Explorer LS 8.8. The wiring is intimidating but I'm hoping to find a way to use the Expedition gauges so that should help, I think.

Like the stance. I'm anticipating a 5" drop, front an rear, so the pictures give me a good idea of what to expect. What wheels & tires are on it?

Am also having thought about the duals out the right side before the rear wheel. Again, the pictures show me what that would look like. Alternative would be side pipes.

What are those seats from? What was the hardest part of fitting those seats?

That is a really good looking truck man. Very well done

 

I kept the stock tank behind the seat and welded a sump into it with a -8 feed that goes to a summit electric fuel pump mounted on the frame.

I dont know what the seats are out of, they were put on the truck by the last owner not myself.

The shifter is from UPR.

 

I'm new to this forum and am wondering if you could help me with my wiring? I am doing the same swap into a 79 f100 from a 2001 lightning. Where did you get your wiring diagrams or kit from? Any links you could send would be much appreciated thanks.
