Not Sure About Something..

OK, looking at the 07 E350 from the front.
Underneath the left side there is a semi circular plastic or fiberglass looking part that protrudes below the suspension.
I've noticed this on Ford vans before but never had one on a van until now.
My question is, what is it?

Not sure if that pic will help since it's a gen earlier. Anyway, I'm curious as to what you're seeing. I can't recall seeing anything sticking out under my 06.

I think I know what you're talking about and my '06 has it too.. but damned if I know what it's for.

Hopefully this pic will upload.
I think the part is loose from where it should be a little higher up in the suspension.

Mudflap Thingie

Mine had that, looked like a rubber mat fastened just behind the bumper and on the passenger side frame rail. No idea what it was for; water protection, wind noise reduction, improving airflow for mileage?

Well mine a just hanging there so if it dries some this weekend I'm going to remove it.

I resecured it and now no more rattle in the front end.
