Good morning all - anyone still have available the 16" X 6" wheels for a 1948? Who would still have tires? Thanks for your support - Don in Orlando

cant help you out with the wheels. dont know if they repop them or not. i doubt it. any 16in tire should work, but if your after the old style bias ply try coker tire. they should have what your looking for.

Tires are EZ to find, the 16" wheels, not so...if you want genuine Ford.

F1, F100: 16" wheels standard equipment thru 1954, optional on 1955/79 F100's, 1966/79 Bronco's, 1975/79 F150's. All 5 lug 5.50" bolt circle.

1967/79: The only wheels available were outies, so the innie hubcaps used on F1's, 1953/66 F100's won't fit / Edit: 16" 5 lug 5.50" bolt circle innies: 1940/48 Ford Passenger Cars & 1940/47 Commercials (1/2 ton truck).

Outie = Hubcap snaps over tabs located outside the wheels center section / Innie = Hubcap snaps over tabs located inside the wheels center section.

Coker Tire (Chattanooga TN) & Lucas Classic Tires (Long Beach CA & Springfield OH) both offer myriad brands of 16" bias ply and radial white and black wall tires.
