95 F-150 5.8 is it mass air

I have a 91 F-250 with a 5.8, I have a chance to buy a complete 95 F-150 with a 5.8. Is the 95 most likely to be a mass air (have not seen truck yet) and if so how hard would it be to swap it over to my 91. I am not a electronics guru, I am old school but I would really like to convert to a mass air if it isn't to complicated. Also it is a mass air if it has the air meter in the intake tube correct?? Thanks for any info that could help.

I would really like to put the 95 front clip on as I like them much better but don't believe I want to go through that trouble. There may be lot's of parts up for sale if I go through with this.

Look under the hood at the air intake system. I believe if its MAF it will have one tube approximately 4-5 inches in size from the air filter to the intake, if it is SD it will have two tubes running parralell approximately 2 inches in size.

I am not 100% sure on this so if I am wrong someone correct me.

Yes. If its MAF it will have the meter in the intake tube, but I don't believe the 5.8 went MAF until 96, if you have a late model 95, it could possibly be MAF. However the 95 will have the roller-ready block, casting # "F4".

A MAF would be nice. You would be able to run a choppier cam with MAF and even do some head swaps or something to greatly increase air flow, However what trans doees your 91 have? I have a AOD, so if I did the swap all I need is a SD to MAF wiring harness and a Mustang EEC. If you have a E4OD it make the swap more difficult. I don't even know if a 95 EEC will operate a 91 E4OD trans, someone else might know.

As for swapping the front end, its possible I guess but the frames are different b/t the 91 and 95. So if you want that front end better be ready to do some modification.

I know it would be easier to stay speed density but I would much rather have mass air.

SCRebel, of course I have the electronic overdrive, things are alway's on the complicated side for me.... Also I am not going to swap out the front ends, I would like to and know it can be done just don't want to go through that hassle.

Thanks for the info guy's, appreciate it.
