My truck's steering got a bit better with the wheel alignment done after I changed the RHS ball joints. They told me the alignment was running +8 out. No wonder the steering was vague!

With the F250 the usual low speed steering strategies apply:
1) try to never turn the steering wheel with the truck stopped;
2) just before you get to the end of a reverse, swing the wheel around the other way so as soon as you move forward the wheels are pointing in the right direction;
3) never enter a confined space in an F250.

You probably already know that stuff. The number of people I see parking cars and they sit stopped cranking the steering wheel, then move, stop, crank the steering, etc. They wouldn't stand a chance in an F250. In fact, that's why they make small cars with power steering these days.
Pretty soon motorised wheelchairs will have power steering. Wait!
They already do, Smartcars (albeit a tandem motorised wheelchair)
