purchased a new tank and hardware. pig tail was labeled for a 87 or 89 idr. i hope they're identical. but if not can someone let me know?

 

They changed the in tank pumps in 90, and got rid of the DFR. Is the plug on the truck trashed? Or is it the tank plug your changing...

 

i ordered Tank off of broncograveyard and they didnt have a pig tail option for 92+ so im wondering if the pigtail on top of the sending unit are the same. if not ill try and salvage the one currently in my tank if itll change over. i decided to spend a little more on plastics.
