Drive shaft support bearing

It came time to replace the bearing with rubber isolator in on the drive shaft.

Previous owner said he had just replaced the U-joints which is now 50K miles ago. Anyway started to develop a huge vibration from 35 MPH to 55 MPH and was getting worse. Replaced the bearing and all is better.

Made paint marks on all joints to make sure it went in all lined up. Well as I was admiring my work I noticed the U-joints were not lined up. (in phase) I check my paint marks and they were right.

SOMBITCH they have been out of phase all this time. Pulled it back and went one spline counter-clockwise and bolted back up.

Amazing how much smoother the truck drives this morning. So to the DAPO ...
