Might pick up a 97 with the 460 today

hey guys i have a few questions i would like to ask about a truck i might buy today. its a 97 f350 with the 460, regular cab with about 72,000 original miles on it. it is the xl model with 4x4

1st i currently have a 96 f250 with the 351. i am going to be getting rid of this truck and replacing it with the 97 f350 im going to look at today. i have a western uni mount plow on my current truck and i am going to want to transfer it over to the new truck. this should fit the new truck correct?

2nd i dont do much towing but maybe a hand full of times a year to english town race track. my car and trailer weigh around 6,000 lbs together. Will the 460 be able to pull this around pretty good. i know the gas milage will be bad but other than that

3rd is there anything i should know about these truck any common problems that seem to turn up in these trucks

i ended up buying the truck yesterday it was too nice to pass up on. does any one else have any idea about the plow frame. if the one off my 96 will fit the 97. i think it should but im not sure. i was looking on ebay and the years are lumped from 92-96. i know the bodys changed on these trucks in 97 but my truck has the older body style so im hoping it falls into that category. i went on the western website and they dont really have any info on the uni mount systems any more i guess they are becoming out dated. if any one could help it would be appreciated. (my mistake i just noticed in my previous post i said plow but i ment the frame. is the plow frame able to be switched over.)

Where the confusion comes in is with the body style change in 97... As long as the 97 is the old body style it is the exact same frame, so your plow mount should fit the same as on the 96...
