Ok, I'll do that. But, are you looking for the tank or the fuel level sender or???? (And, I'm stalling while I output in the background all of the "text" part of the catalog into individual jpeg pages as I'm tired of generating each one when need it.)

This is the instrument wiring pages from the 86 EVTM. The voltage to the gage should be regulated aroung 5v.

Of course if the regulator is not functioning, it should also affect the oil and temperature gages.

If it's just the fuel gage then it should be narrowed down to wiring or sendor.

Gary....if you're digging up the sendor for Dorsai...then I won't bother.

Well, that's better. It must have taken almost an hour to output 3002 jpg's, but now I have them. And, attached are the 3 pages that are appropriate to the fuel sender question.

Chris - Why don't we post this somewhere and go out of the "what sender do I need" business? Just point them to it?

Dorsai - I think yours is next-to-last on the first page, Page 1293. Right? Assuming it is a steel tank?

All - See what we are dealing with and why so many questions???

Still can't rep you, Kevin. But good job on where to find them. That guy in Haven, KS isn't that far from me - 200 miles. May have to visit him some day.

Can't Rep you either Gary . I do like you're idea of posting the common type part look-up questions for all to see.

I'm thinking it could save 3 of us a lot of time. And, actually, help the others as well since they could look it up faster than waiting for us'ns to come back and ask Twenty Questions re wheelbase, engine, plastic/steel, midshift/aft, etc.

Absolutely....I think Chris may have to look into it with the FTE folks to make sure we aren't breaking some copyright law or something

I've been wondering about that. While in this case we are only posting 3/3002's of that part of the MPC, I can see us doing something similar for other things. But, fuel sending units are one of the biggies and one of the more complex, so if that was all we did it would be worth it.
