Add some pictures of your fire truck, and we probably have some folks here who can advise you on its value.
Include things like your general location and features / specs on the truck.

Beautiful fire truck.
Is is still running? That can make a big difference in it's value.
One problem with trucks like this one is that everyone loves them, but not many people will actually buy them.
Larger trucks are also a bit more of a challenge to maintain.
Here is a 1948 Fire truck for sale on ebay. It's not quite apples to apples, but it can give you an idea of where yours might fall.

If I were to offer a dollar figure, it would be a pretty wild guess.

Thanks for that, and you are correct, it's not apples to apples, that one has way less miles on it, but mine has been garage kept and has some "celebrity" to go along with it. Yes it ran until about 14 years ago, that's why I'm bringing it to Phoenix (close to home) so I can clean the fuel system, make sure everything works, etc. I looked up one similar to the one you mentioned and it was selling for $25k

You need to keep in mind that the one you linked to here is the ASKING price by a Fire Truck dealer.
Regarding the 'celebrity' that can add value to a very limited audience, but only if you have all the proper providence to verify it. For example, the Movie/TV production companies issue letters of authenticity for movie/tv used vehicles.

My F4 weighs about 5,000 pounds empty, so I'd bet with all that metal on the back (but minus the roof) your truck is about 6,000 to 6,500 pounds.
Maybe Keith will see this. He may have weighed his fire truck.

Being an F7 with the pump, tanks and all, I'd venture its a lot more than 6500#. I recall reading somewhere that the cab and chassis weights in about 6500#, add in all the fire truck equipment, I'd bet its closer to 12-15000#
