The day I went out to buy it, I could tell it was taken care of and original, but seen some time (130,000 miles). The original owners said the battery was bad and was jump starting it. In doing so, it fired up and ran smooth. While talking, about 10 minutes later, it died and would not fire up again.

Long story short.. I was left with a dead truck bought! LOL!

I checked around and discovered that in checking the fuel relief valve there was no fuel or pressure. I noticed that I didnt hear the fuel pump on the rail whining.

I tried checking for a fuse but the panel didnt indicate any of the fuse were for the fuel pump, and in pulling all the fuses all were good. I went ahead and replaced the fuel pump, but had no fuel again.

I found that there was no juice to the pump. I hot wired the pump to the batter and got it running, but it was not pulling fuel through....

What gives?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ge-issues.html Check out the wiring diagram posted by rla in this thread.
Also remember that when the key is turned to on, the pumps (in tank and on rail) will only run for about 1sec.
