Spacers won't put added stress on my rear pinion. How come people don't like spacers but don't have a problem running rims with a negative offset which is the exact same concept

Well just so everyone knows, you CANNOT use the stock 17x7.5 XLT rims with the Skyjacker lift even with spacers. Unfortunately my spacer idea didn't work. It wasn't the vertical spacing that was the issue like I had originally thought but rather the horizontal clearance:

I went ahead and purchased 20" rims with some 35x12.5R20 tires. Should be ready to go by Saturday. More pics to come.

So what you're saying is to get the optional 20's when I order mine?

If you're going with skyjacker yes.

I asked the suspension guy what his honest opinion of the lift was....his exact words, "Honestly, this is the best designed lift i've seen. Between the rear leafs and the front design you can't beat it."

He asked how much I paid for it and couldn't believe I got it for the same price as a block lift.

If you think about it though, the very fact that the knuckle is big enough to require 20s compared to all the other lifts tells me it's beefier than the other lifts as well.

I know it looks like it sags in the rear but it doesn't, it's just cause I have about 700lbs of wood in the back. I would have liked to get pictures without out it but didn't have time to unload it.

Nice looking truck. Turned out well.
How's the 5.0 pulling the 35's?

Honestly I wish I had 4.10's. It does it, but it could be better. 3.55's and 35's is most definitely not the most ideal combo.

The ride height is nice. But those wheels stick out badly! Tuck them under or put fender flares on or the pretty blue paint is going to get some messin' up.

Yeah I'm taking the spacers off. I like the look of them sticking out but can't deal with the rubbing when turning

Stock steering knuckle w/stock 17" rim

Skyjacker steering knuckle w/stock 17" rim

Skyjacker steering knuckle w/20" rim

Done right, no blocks!

The leafs even came with a wedged shim to correct for driveline angle

Glad to get rid of these things. YUCK

Testing out the new suspension...had to ensure it worked.

Absolutely zero frame twist, which I was please about after having a 1997 F-350 that would twist so bad the tailgate would pop and be unopenable

About 1/4" between the tire and the shock. Perfect offset/tire combination.

No rubbing here...the 35x12.5's on the 20x9 rims w/+25mm offset tuck under the wheel-well nicely
