It is time to chage the front brake rotors of my 00 F450 and i wonder if somebody in here try this raybestos front rotors. They looks good but i don't know if they are good enough to spend couple more bucks on this...

I have two sets of powerslot rotors, the old kind where the slots go all the way to the edge of the rotor and are installed with the slots pointing to the rear of the vehicle and the new kind where the slots don't go to the edge of the rotor and are installed with the slots pointing to the front of the vehicle. Both sets have hawk pads.

On both sets the slots got corroded after awhile and can't be cleaned, hence the depth gets shallower hindering there effectiveness. My father has the Raybestos Advanced technology rotors ( no slots) and the best Raybestos semi metallic pads. His brakes perform just as good as mine and we have identical trucks (Dodge Rams). Based on my experiences and the way I use my truck, I would not get slotted rotors again.

Even though the Raybestos rotors my father has are made in china, they appear to be a good rotor. I noticed that Raybestos has two types of corrosion protection on the R300 that you show, one for the hub section and one for the rotor section. Maybe their corrosion protection is better than Powerslot, but once the slots start filling with corrosion the benefits start to fade.

I've wondered about those too. Thought about buying them when I did mine
