Happy Saturday fellas. Been real busy workin on other peoples rides and my house. I was able to get most of the new half bath roughed in today. The old one was a joke, so I gutted it and the closet next to it. It's now framed and wired. Tomorrow is the fun part. Tying into the main waste line. Oh yeah.

Happy Sunday all! Back to the real world today..
Went on a weekend road trip to Backwoods Madness up in Stout Wisconsin with the Mini Baja race team I am a part of.
We took our two most recent built cars(from 2012 and 2013) for 3 events. A special 3 lap Le-mans style start race in reverse direction on the track. This determined starting position for the next event.
Then two separate 2 hour endurance races. The winners were determined by how many laps your car completed in the 4 hours of racing.
20 cars started. 7 cars finished. 1 of them was ours.
We finished 4th overall.
5 laps behind the 3rd place team.
8 laps behind the 2nd place team.
10 laps behind the 1st place team.
The start of the first endurance run.
Our most recent car lookin secksy.
Sadly that car pictured didnt get to finish. Our other older car did though! Its a tank... weighs in about 100lbs more than #40.
The cause:
The carnage:
The (temporary) solution:
The bottom shock mount is aluminum so we couldnt weld to it with what we had in the trailer. Took some steel pipe and a washer/nut and made some rig to hold it up. It didnt work too well, but we just wanted to get back in the race.
Compared to the other side:
