Both of you are right. He explained it to me, like you said, they will post up a car that needs picked up and shipped to an area, and if a truck is in the area, they stop by and pick it up. Basically they will dispatch a truck to an area of the US depending on how long the trucker wants To be gone, and however many stops they can make before circling around and heading home is how much they get paid.
They don't send out a truck to pick up a single car and take it to a specific place. It's regional more or less. And yea, the guy ended up losing a $250 deposit
A guy I work with bought a CCLB PSD from somewhere in TX and had it shipped here for $700, iirc. It only took a week from the sale to delivery. Idk how he did it, but he must have known how to work the system.

Been nice and cool here lately too. Highs in the mid 70's and overnight lows in the 50's. Great weather for sleeping with the windows open!
In other news, I found a donor engine for my truck!
Looks like I have some work to do, eh? Truck is a C&C with a bad E4-Oh-Dear. It has Reverse though (which is why it's loaded backwards). One more truck to part out. The engine seems really tight with 233k on it though so I think I am going to pull the engine and try and swap it over and do a bunch of other little things to my truck at the same time. I doubt I'll have the funds for a serious build, but I want to do as many things as money allows while I have the engine bay empty. Might as well do it all at once, right?
Getting everything ready to leave for North Carolina tomorrow! I was heading home from work today and I heard a clunk, shhhhh. Looked behind me and the bottom half of my downpipe is skiddin down the road. I pull over, throw it in the back of my truck, and was on my merry way. It was prolly in my head but it seemed like I had zero turbo lag! I gave it some throttle and the turbo immediately caught up and away we went!

Congrats Nate! Hopefully this will nip your issues in the bud once and for all. Just for kicks and giggles, did swaping injectors in your present motor have any effect? Haven't checked your thread latley.
In other news, looks like the trans on the Ambassador is coming out. I've been chatting back and forth with Aaron about it. And tried about every diagnostic we can to rule everything out. Looks like somthing is going on inside. Shouldn't be bad, going to get a rebuild kit and get er done. Going to take my time and hoping to learn somthing in the process.
