IMHO, totally worth it!
Every year I kick around the idea of going to this pull, then driving through the night down to Evansville to the pulls down there. Most of the same guys that pull in Goshen pull in Evansville the next day. They are have their crews fixing stuff in the semi trailers going down the highway. That's commitment right there!
Huh. Must be the way the days fell this year, every other year its always the next day. I've never been to the Evansville pulls, just talked about going.
Morning fellas. Haven't been on a whole lot lately. I'm two weeks into the new job. So far it's going pretty well. If I can learn all the computer stuff I have to do, it will be better. I spend almost as much time on my company laptop as I do working equipment! There is soooooo much stuff I have to learn about it! Once I feel comfortable with that part of it, it will be good. Most of you know I'm a low tech redneck, so this is the biggest part of the learning curve for me! LOL! Hope every one is doing well!
When they introduced computers into my old job I was lost also. You will get it, just takes time. There is always a up side and in my case it was that the locomotive cabs were equipped with a/c. The a/c pressured the cab keeping dirt out of their computers. We loved it!!!

Gosh DANG that is a pretty blue! Lemme know if you wanna trade
My other question to you guys on here. Has anyone ever had their truck painted? Was it astronomical or doable? I'd be staying with red, but it is going to be needing it here in the next year or so. Just getting ideas. I know it would be ridiculous if I did change colors due to door jams, etc.
Not sure how this helps you, but to paint a 6' 6" bed for an F150 with minimal bodywork (one dent repair, minor glazing in a few spots, etc.) was nearly $1300 for me. Had 2 doors done for the same truck last year and it was $900, similar level of body work. Chances are a whole truck doesn't project out at that level, but it's the work I know I've got bills for.
