Update about yesterday.
Close to 800 miles total, about 14 and a half hours with all stops start to finish. The day could not have been more perfect weather wise. It was simply stunning. And the Michigan country side offered plenty of beautiful views. I even relinquished the wheel for a while so I could get some pictures. But I did most of the driving.
Truck ran great . Never skipped a beat. No hiccups, nothing. Just wish it had the power . We will fix that soon though.
We (my buddy and I) were greeted by a short drive on some dirt roads that lead to this awesome little cabin. Right on a lake. I would love go go spend a week or more there. Glenn was there waiting for us, he showed us around and of course see there were stories being swapped. We loaded up the goods and reluctantly started heading for home. We drove straight home with no stops.
White got 18.5mpg on the way over, haven't checked the home tank yet. I will leave some pictures of our day. It was a awesome trip and I was just glad to have help go with me.
It will pry be a while before the thrash happens. The motor will need new studs and just some odds and ends. I will pry have my pump sent to Joey for a rebuild.
Overall a just phenomenal day. One I will remember for a long LONG time!
My buddy Andy drove for a little while so I could take some pictures and take in the sights!
Inside that sweet cabin!
The goods!
Just before we left for home. It was hard to leave!

I'm glad you're getting a new mill for white. I know I've been chewing your azz about it for a while. However, I can't seem to shake the idea that that mill should be here. I also don't want to give up my engine. I'm greedy I guess! Lol. If I had more money I'd buy you a motor deliver it to you so that engine could be reunited with its original truck.
I'm reall glad that you had safe travels.
I hear those gravel roads are a little tight. The guy that brought the mare to me picked it up from that place in the in the middle of the night. He was pulling a 40' goose and wasn't happy. Lol.

I thought of that too. About the mill being with its original truck. But believe me, it will get put to good use in white. She's been struggling for a while and dying a slow death. Though it will surprise you every once in a while yet. This way I'm getting an engine that is known history. I didn't want one that had little or no history just because I was terrified it was like the one here in white.
