That would be best to not drive it.
I hope you are not scrapping them?
Im still driving it... I dunno why I dislike driving the Harley so much. Iv never owned such a nice truck and not drove it lol.
And yea Im gonna scrap em. I found out Saturday theyre not all 40 horse like I initially thought. Ones a 40, ones a 10, and the other is a 7.5 horse. I gave the 7.5 to my uncle as a thank you for using his ditch witch, the 10 horse is locked up tight and the 40 horse is already disassembled. The motor used as a crane to dump the trucks is a 5 horse itself! Some heavy machinery in this place!
Every since you mentioned using the truck dumper motor as a replacement A-frame, Iv REALLY been considering it lol
The only happy fact about this Monday is I only have a day and a half left in this work week lol...
Well, that and the fact that I just saw that you're today's "Featured Garage" on FTE! Congrats, buddy. Hopefully that's good for a t-shirt or sticker or something, lol.
My truck seems to not wanna start too well. I decided to winter prep it with a set of new 850 CCA Motorcraft batteries, a new glow plug relay, and tested all 8 glow plugs to make sure they work. The dern thing still seems doggy to start, if that makes sense. Im not sure if I have a bad connection or a short somewhere? In the mornings, itll crank slow, and pull the batteries so low the alternator belt squeals. My volt meter will read in between 8 and the first letter of whatever it reads on the gauge. Its irritating to spend $400 and it still hesitate to start...
I agree with this. Had a gas truck that did the same thing. Changed battery, solenoid, some other parts, but it was the starter that wasn't up to snuff.
