Hey, guys. Been a crazy last month and I haven't been on here at all. Just not enough hours in the day. Hope everyone is well and your trucks are running perfectly. I'm trying to get the final pieces to do my suspension work. Getting close, now I just need a day to do it!
Anyway, thought you might enjoy the family pumpkins. I like mine best, but my wife doesn't share my view. lol

Well I didn't get that truck. I was texting them before I left to go meet them and asked what they wanted out of their truck. $3200. Not a bad price if its in good shape. But then they said, "But we cant add any cash to it"... WRONG-O! Im not trading straight up for a truck that's worth $2500 less than mine...

Great looking pumpkin Dan!
As some of you may recall, last winter/early spring I was fighting with my Optima Red Tops. Well it has begun again the last few weeks. Today the truck flat out didn't start and it was only about 50. Glow plugs are less than a year old and the GPR is reading good on the volt meter. All grounds are tight and no corrosion to be found. I basically got nothing from Optima when I e mailed them last spring. Found my receipt from Napa today and I didn't spend as much as I thought at 375, but still. These things are 2-1/2 years old for crying out loud! Called Napa and asked if I needed to go through Optima for warranty, which I wouldn't have held my breath, but he said bring them on in and we will take care of it! Sweet. Truck is on the charger now, going to take it up there if it fires.

Going on four years now I have had 4 Optimas Blue tops on my 3,000 watt invertor for my camper. They run my freezer, small refrigerator and entertainment center no problems at all.

That would have been a good idea! I was going to try and do Powerstroke but the pumpkin really wasn't big enough. This will have more meaning to more people I suppose. Maybe next year.
Have to say though that carving your pumpkin with a drill is a blast. My one son did his and then took a small bit and drilled all over. He said it had acne! Lol from a middle schooler!

I don't think they are right for our application. They need a special charger to even charge, with the drag from gps they go down and are not charged correctly by the alternator and eventually go down. Just my observation...I may be crazy.
