Thanks buddy. Moving does suck. I think it may be a welcome change though once I get some land, a shop built, and a house built. Be nice to get away from the winters here, which I've been wanting to do for several years now. And, it will also be nice to have some flat ground for a change! LOL! I'm trying to look at this as a fresh start. Sucks being 44 years old and starting over, but I have to look at it from a positive stand point to keep what shred of sanity I have left, so I call it "a fresh start" rather than "starting over".......sounds better anyway

Well Bill, I've had two fresh starts in the last 5 years and they aren't all bad. From where I stand, other than being away from family, your fresh start looks pretty darn good! You got out of coal, bad winters, and now have a job with good benefits and pay to get somewhere with your other desires. I think you scored!! Of course I would have preferred you be in Texas, but we don't always get what we want.

That's the only way to look at it. I moved several times chasing the better jobs as I gained senority. It was the only way I could keep my sanity. The better jobs meant more time at home. I left a beautiful piece of land in the Black Hills of SD because I was working every eight hours.

Edit. I also would have preferred you in AZ. Lol

This is the first I've seen the Ford logo too. Must have been added overnight.

Had a strange one happen today. The truck started missing and of course lots of things started flying thru my head. Loose chip, IPR sticking, CPS acting up, water in fuel, etc. Funny how your head starts in several different directions, at least mine does. I just keep going for awhile and noticed on the scan gauge my EOT was going from 220° to 65,525° in a second or two and back. When it would go to the higher number, it would miss. Poor computer didn't know how to fuel the motor, LOL. Long story short, my plug is loose and I'm having a hard time getting it to stay tight. My Irate e fuel kit has a steel line running right next to the plug and its tight quarters in there. Of course the plastic locking tab is broke off so I'm going to have to figure out how to keep it on there!?!?!?

Duct tape? lol, yeah those are always fun to try and sort out.

Finally committed to RRE - got the time off work. I'll only be there Friday-Sunday, getting in late on Thursday (after the NEST dinner and all), but better than missing the event in full.

My first thought would be to pull the pins out of the connector and try to squeeze them down a little to snug up the connection. Aside from that, a new EOT sensor pigtail is what you need. I'm not sure if they are available from Ford or not. If you can't find one, I have a spare harness or two on the shelf and I can check them to see if any of them have a good EOT connector. Let me know if you need me to do that.

Thanks Travis, so far after tapping gently on the plug it has been OK. I might try to bend that steel fuel line a little also to gain a little room. I'll let you know if I need that pigtail, I appreciate the offer. I'll check with Ford first when I can find a spare minute, LOL.

Got a line on a PSD parts truck today. It's said to not run. Mechanic says no compression. It's an FSD box truck, 5spd with PTO. Reg cab that's remarkably clean for this area. Interior is rough, but nothin a new bench seat can't fix. If I get it, I don't know if I'd use it for parts, get it running and use it in some way or try to flip it. Either way, if I get it for what I offered him, I can't go wrong. Except with the wife maybe. Lol. Now that I've posted about it, it will probably be gone. Oh well. We shall see.
