Byron, 20-22 psi is doing real well for non Cali and stock sticks. I'm not sure I could push that with chip and my ol slush box. Then again, I'm not sure how long my uppies have been blown apart. Oh and my Buckeyes keep Rollin!

My day was supposed to be filled doing 2 brake jobs and a window reg on my DD so I can put my truck away for the winter. Mother Nature, however, had a different plan. We had to get the plow trucks ready and will most likely have to head out early. Calling for 4-6". Yep. Not ready for this crap. Lol

There's like a 80 can't difference between diesel and gas here. Diesel is 3.79 where gas is 2.99. Can't argue with that. So the Scooby has been getting alot of road time. The stupid CEL came on today. P0420 was the code. Thinking it's cause of an exhaust leak.

Todd - I'm not ready either, not at all. I'd prefer that kind of accumulation stay away for a while.

Unleaded here is $3.05. I suppose that from an efficiency standpoint I could stand running the Expedition more often with that price - but, we'll see.

Byron, those numbers are about norm with my auto meters.,
Well,I got the stupid hpop bolt that was pulled out repaired and clifford all buttoned up.drove him last night for the first time. Fresh oil change and new fully functional brake boster.man I have to say that the t-500 perked the ol turd up and I can dependably stop for the first time.
I'm thinking about talking with a local dyno shop about getting some baseline numbers as a refrence incase I get to do any more serious mods...should I ,should I ? ??????

And I worked on two other psd trucks this weekend with a third yet to get started on...and my dad dropped his suzuki sidekick off for me to rebuild the trans in....I'm SO buried!
And 3-5" snow tonight a week BEFORE thanksgiving....sure thanks for global warming...lol

ONLY. Here in bc it's almost 60cents a gallon higher than unleaded. I don't understand why. If I wasn't allowed to run marked fuel I'd probably just keep the gasser.

There are actually 4 here locally. One guy I know, another I have had tune several mustangs over the years.one I don't like the guy at all and one I don't know. Prob call greg since I have used him many times. Just he is 40mins from the house. But I trust him well.
I think for a basically stock engine its about at the limit other than an ic which on a dyno I don't think would matter any. I would hope for 250 at the tires.opinions?

Definitely Dyno! Then you can reburn your tunes if they need adjusted. I'll be hitting the dyno as soon as all the major engine work is done. I'll be turning the base 445 into a 450.14CI after I bore up. Not sure of the gain's I'll get from that base engine, because I'll be running stage 2's and a T500 installed at the same time(if all goes well!)

CORRECTION....25-30 cents MORE than UL gas. Sorry guys! I was typing too fast. Thanks for the info Todd and Aaron and someone else...dang I forget and can't check right now! JP? Mike? LOL I was wondering if boost was low, but seems good for stock sticks. That'll be the next change here pretty soon! Heh heh....

Man for you guys that have to plow, that SUCKS! I am about to be in the frozen tundra myself shortly. No more 70* weather every day for me. Ah well, would rather be on a horse in cold weather than staying warm with crowds and aholes I guess... Texas gets more freezing rain than snow, which I hate more than anything, but the Hill Country is mild for the most part.

Your most welcome Aaron! Good luck on the dyno, I'm going to adjust my tunes before I spend the money but will sometime this winter get on the dyno.

No change in tuning. My stone age chip isn't changeable.just want a baseline of where I'm at now.

Morning fellas.

Turns out they just put a dyno in at a shop about 25 miles north of here. I might have to make a trip up and put some runs down to see where things stand.

Weather was bearable here. Only got 2-3 inches and didn't stick to the roads (that's the best kind)

Gas is $2.89 and diesel finally dropped to $3.62. Yup, 73 cents difference. I saw at a couple filling stations in Evansville gas $2.99 and diesel $3.99

It doesn't help my truck cant seem to get over 15 mpg recently. The Olds should get 23ish. Hopefully better with the new pump
