BTW - thanks to all of you who chimed in on my no-start issue. Been busy all weekend so I hadn't checked in on the boards over the past few days. Got the truck running again. Relay cooked itself already (lesson learned, don't depend on AutoZone stuff in these trucks) and a fresh one of those at least gets me running. Pigtails looked good, tested good, and no burnt pins that I could see. I do think the GP's are getting weak after 295k because it's still starting harder than it has. So, a fresh set of GP's as well as VC gaskets and UVC harnesses are in route from our favorite guy in Oregon along with a Stancor relay to fully fix it.
Save your money on that Stancor and get the western plow relay. 15 bucks shipped and works very well.

Been busy Phil?

I found this emblem so I put it on my tailgate. I'm sure I'll manage to knock it off!

Okay OKAY, I know everyone missed me but I'm back (I've been way too busy).

My dang glow plug relay seems to get stuck on now that it's getting cold here in AZ. YES the 30-40s is cold for the morning. I know it's supposed to kick off after 120 seconds, but sometimes it seems to stay on indefinitely unless I turn the truck off and then back on (after it's fully warmed up.) Maybe that's what I get for buying an O'Reilly brand glow plug relay.. at least I got Motorcraft glow plugs!

Side note, what do you guys think would be some good mods for me to save up for now? I have a 3" downpipe to 3.5" straight pipe, 6637 intake, stage 1s, and a dp chip (and also EGT, Boost gauges, and a non working Fuel PSI gauge)

Should I get an intercooler next? Or should I do the EVBP pedestal delete, save up for a bigger turbo? Maybe gold plated rims and some sweet flames?

Obviously 😉

It should be
1. Efuel
2. T4 kit and intercooler

I am learning the hard way not to mess around and drop some coin.

Yeah, I've been really busy this year, not enough money either.

Max, now is the time to decide just how crazy you want to go and what your goals are. That will ultimately determine what mods you should be working on.

I was debating that one. I've heard good on both - and anything's better than the AZ special. I put one in back in February, and again in November...ugh.

E-fuel is up on my list. Marty's Diesel makes a nice kit for about $875 that's getting a lot of looks from me.

For me, money hasn't been the problem (though there's never enough to go around when it comes to mods) but time has been a huge issue. Still working at least 50 hours a week, when usually this time of year we're slow.

Sweet flames! That's the only mod worth the money!

I wouldn't do that disservice to you. Trust me you don't want that headache.

Thought I would share this with you guys. This used to be a Dodge crew cab dually. It's at the local wrecker yard. Someone told me that a car hit him, causing him to hit a semi head-on. The rear damage was caused by the backhoe he was towing on a trailor. Looks like the rescue workers removed both doors and the door post on drivers side to extract people.
