The company that I have had good service from when shipping wheels is R&L Carriers. Their toll free number is (800)543-5589. They securely shrink wrap the wheels to a pallet, and generally deliver to either their depot in your area or to a business address. I don't know what they'd say about delivery to a residential address, you'd want to ask about that. In your case there would be customs paperwork to handle too. I'd suggest calling them to get a quote. The wheels weigh 45 lbs each, and the pallet around 20 lbs. Six wheels is generally about 300 lbs, or seven wheels a little less than 350. I would be shipping from zip code 62563. They do ship C.O.D. When you call they will give you a Quote Number that I would need, along with your address and contact information, when I drop them off at the local depot. Hope that answers it. If not please say. Stu

Hello truckdog
I am looking for 6 or 7 wheels. 5 lug on 8in 22.5 or 19.5 stud piloted. I don't want to jump in front of anyone, but you can let me know what is available. I just purchased a 55 F500 3 weeks ago and have been trying to decide whether to swap frames to f100 size or keep it big. Finding wheels makes me feel better about keeping it original. I actually know where another 55 F500 is so I may be needing 2 full sets.
thanks!

I can take care of you with 19.5s, two sets if needed, or my friend Josh Madsen I believe can fix you up with one set of 22.5s. You just need to decide which you want. I will be bringing a few sets of 19.5s back to Illinois at the end of June, which would save you shipping costs to TN, or you could come pick them up. Josh lives in the Salt Lake City area and I'm sure would ship his set to you. The sets that I have available are 19.5" x 6" and would use 8R19.5" radial tires. Josh's I believe are 22.5" x 5.25". These were designed for either a 7" or 8" wide tire, but the narrowest available today is a 9R22.5" radial. Guys use these tires on the narrow rims and report they work fine. The 8R19.5" tire will be about 33.5" to 34" tall, while the 9R22.5s will be 38" or taller. You'll need to compare these measurements to your present 20" tube type tires. The 22.5" is the direct replacement for the 20". The 19.5" is a shorter tire and you'd have to factor in some speedometer error, but they look and fit fine. Hope that covers it. If you have other questions please say. Stu

Will you be going through TN in june with wheels. Do you have a FedEx facility close enough to ship them through? I can get a pretty good rate with them.
Thanks, Gene

No, won't go that far east. Will travel straight to central Illinois. I haven't checked on Fed Ex trucking previously, but could investigate if you have had good service from them in the past. Use of R&L has been very good to work with on this end. You might do a cost comparison. The wheels weigh 45 lbs each, and with pallet would be about 300 lbs for six or 350 lbs for seven. I would be shipping from zip 62563. Stu

I'm in Oregon now and have loaded several sets of 19.5s on the trailer to haul home to Illinois in a week or so. If any west coast truck owners are wanting sets I'd suggest you speak up to save shipping costs. I expect other sets will come available out here in the coming months, but this load will clean out my son's supply. Stu

Just to update, I now have a few sets of the 19.5" Budd #89340 wheels in central Illinois. I also left some sets in Oregon to help guys in western states. Stu
