just curious if anyone with an edelbrock(or other 4v intake) has put down an adapter and reused the original 2 barrel carb and how did it do?

i used one for one of my 460s to keep it running for about 2 weeks untill my eddys showed up in the mail [due to the stock holly leaking fuel from the front bowl gaskits] under powered sounded like you had 6 carbs under the hood but it worked ok in a pinch
