License Plate lights not working...
Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the License Plate Lamps? I installed a LED ID bar under my tailgate above my license plate and I tapped into the license plate hot wire. The led's are working but the license lamps went out. What can I do to troubleshoot this problem?

Are you sure that you "tapped into the license plate lamp wiring" and didn't cut the wire ??? If your light bar is working, then the fuse is OK. Check both the hot and ground connections--you will find that one of them has probably been cut off from the license plate lights. Were the 2 license plate lamps working before you did the splicing ??? Maybe they weren't, and both bulbs are blown, or the sockets are rotted.

Thanks for the feedback. Both lic. plate bulbs were working. I used a blue splice connector to connect to the thin brown wire that was live routed into socket. That wire runs together with a thin black wire probably the "ground..".These two very thin wires connect to a gray juntion clip that disconnects. I don't know the purpose of it. Anyway the light bar lights up when I touch the ground to the truck frame. but no lic plate lights. Is there a fuse designated to the lic.plate lights??
