What do you think my hp will be on my 351w
What do you guys estimate my hp/tq will be on this engine (just waiting on my heads to come back in:
351w std bore and stroke
E7TEs rebuilt and a lil bit of port work (i know theyre junk)
Edelbrock performer 351w intake
Headers and straight exhaust
Holley 4150 series 750cfm
HEI dizzy (dont hate me)
Comp double roller chain, lifters, and springs.
Comp cam:
295 intake
313 exhuast
.512 intake
.498 exhaust
107 lsa
Just waiting for my heads to come back from shop. Shortblock is done, ptv checked with washers stacked in lifters and clay (before i sent heads out)
Had a ton of clearance on the exhaust valve and well over .060 on the intake. Is that okay? I say .060 because i think thats minimum? It was over that
Cam and lifters are in, timing chain, cover, waterpump. Just need the heads to button up the top end.
What kind of power do you think ill make for hp and tq?

Unfortunately the cam is a complete mismatch for those heads on a 351, so you're going to be badly disappointed with the power it makes. On a 351 E7s become restrictive at 4000rpm and the cam you selected doesn't begin to make power until 3000rpm.. that's the mismatch I'm talking about. So you got a choice to make.. put an appropriate cam in it(CompCams 35-234-3) so the motor makes respectable power with the parts it has, or go find some heads that flow enough to let it make power where it wants to at 6000rpm(180cc RHS irons). The first scenario will get you close to 300hp and 375tq with a 0-4000rpm powerband and the second setup will make over 400hp & Tq but the powerband will be 2500rpm-6500rpm so you'll need gears and a high stall if the truck doesn't have it already.

Surprisingly little. You're using a low-rpm intake and heads that don't flow enough for a 302 with a cam that's made to start pulling ~3,000 rpm. If your compression ratio is ~10.5:1 you might make 275-300 hp @~5,000rpm before the heads give out.
Ditch that cam for something with about 40 degrees less duration.

DesktopDyno.. which is known to produce optimistic numbers.. says this combo will make a wopping 268hp and 307 ft/lb of torque.
Now I can understand what you're doing here but the cam you selected is WAY out to lunch for everthing except a motor that is going to live at 7500rpm all the time, and if that's what you plan then you need a forged and balanced rotating assembly. How exactly is this truck going to be used? Is it going to be for the mud pit or sled pulls? If so that's fine but you're going to have to target about 6000rpm max for the stock rotating assembly and then put heads and a cam on it to make the best of that. Those parts will be a lot bigger than stock but the cam won't be as crazy as this one.
