I was in Tucson a few years ago and had a bad bout with valley fever. I lived there for years and never heard about it until I came down with it. Like you, I was told puenomia and was given a z-pak of medication, I ended up in the hosipital for a week, then 90 days of meds.
I wish you well.

the VF in legs is finally starting to improve where I can be on my feet for much longer now.
This is what I had in my lower legs. It went from lungs down to legs. So far nearly 4wks on a diff med. At one point I had a hard time walking from house to shop and thats only 104'.
Updates soon! Very little has been done since june when I got the VF so will take a while to get caught up on stuff.
Thank goodness for good friends to help me finally make some progress on projects. A couple days with a crew that shows up and its unreal what can get done.

Thought about this project while at Carlisle last week. There was a guy there from the Syracuse area who had put a '66 cab on a recent vintage Super Duty. Very well done project - I need to upload some pics when I get a chance.
Any way, hoping to see/hear about some progress on this project. More importantly, hope your health has recovered.

So here it is a year later and I still have open wound on my leg. Allergic to pretty much any and all medications now.
Natural type healing stuff is all I can do. Slowly starting to heal and dreaming about getting back on this project. Problem is bought another truck I thought would need just a little TLC. WRONG!
I have made ZERO progress on my 427 Project but now after a year am finally making progress on workshop re-do. Exterior should be complete this thursday then I can finally paint it. It will take a few more years to get it up to where I want it but can use it as a shop soon.

I came very close of quiting the project a week or so ago and was going to just add 2013 Sheet metal to the eco chassis to make my own Tremor.
If my health would improve a bit more I can get back on getting the cab mounted. I do have it figured out how I will do that and have the mounts made up. Just a matter of having help to get them welded on frame and cab in place.
Too many trips to doc etc . . .
