Thanks man. It's got 128,000 on it and I'm getting it ready to compete this summer in two big shows here in PA - Bloomsburg 4x4 Jamboree and Carlisle All-Truck Nationals.

The "There's Only One...Brahma Bull Build" thread link in my signature has more specifics on mine if you're interested, so we don't clutter up Bobbie's thread.

Here are a few teaser pics of the bumper after it arrived and I took all the pieces out. I think I'm going to have some time on Sunday to try and get it on the truck.

Trying for this weekend. I'll have to see how my husband feels after being gone all week... If he will watch the boy then I should be able to get it on. Don't want to be rednecking the 190 pound bumper on with a two year old running loose.

I'm pretty sure I can get the current bumper off with my son's "help". After all, he has worked on all the other parts with me. He hits the tires with a rubber mallet and then will crawl under the truck with me and hit things with a screw driver and tell me he's "working too."

When I do projects around the house my kids will get out their play tools and come and help. Sometimes I find them under the wife's vanity with a toy drill, hammer, and screw driver pretending to work on the access door under the counter. I love it! they don't ever want to help with the truck unless I am washing it but that is better then nothing. I suspect my younger one will be more into helping with things then my older son is. I have had him at doctor offices and other places with some older gentlemen and they all come over and tell me he will drive a truck when he gets older.

I checked with a local guy that does spray in bedliners(I think it was speedliner or something) and he quoted me around $350 to do the lower panels and around $400 if I wanted to do up around the wheelwells like a fender flare. I asked him about doing the bumpers and he said around $150/bumper. He asked if they were painted or chromned(mine are painted) so I don't know if that makes a difference on the price.

I checked with my local Line X dealer and they wanted $400 do both bumpers and $400 to do spray on wheel flares.

It would make a slight difference on the price most likely because a chrome bumper would need to be sand blasted so the liner could stick properly.

I've started working on the bumper. I've got the original bumper off and had to take a break because my son was tired of being outside.

Here are a few pics of the destruction:
Head lights and upper bumper off.

Looks like I have to clean up the fender section. That's a lot of dirt!

The beginning of the carnage.

Lower bumper off

Most of this view will be replaced by the new bumper

A lazy dog is always good company on a build project!

So i got the bumper on the truck today! Took a little bit of blood and had to grab a neighbor because the thing weighs a ton.

I think I have to do a few more things to to the bumper to get it to sit just right. Right now it rubs just a hair when trying to open the hood and I think I just have to add a washer or two to the top mounts and kick that out just a touch but other than that it looks awesome and I love it.

I had to cut the fender flares a little to get them to fit after and I'm painting them black since that's the color the bottom is going to be anyways. As soon as they dry I'll put them back on and post pictures of it.

Here are some pics of the bumper:

Here's the bumper on, but not tightened down.

And the final product:

That does look good. What did you paint the flares with - Plastidip?
