WOW. 12K empty. Now that is a load. Let me know how she does. I pull 17K to 18K and she yells at me to give her more weight. LOL

I went from a 2006 6.0 to a 2008 6.4 and now have a 2012 6.7.

The 6.4 was an improvement compared to the 6.0 when it came to the noise inside the cab. However, I was shocked about the mpg: it dropped roughly 2.0 to 14mpg and I remember only once to see the magic 15mpg number. What had made it worse, I downgraded from a F350 Dually to a F250, which had been slightly lighter.

My 2012 6.7 gives me currently 16.5mpg in the city and is again a Dually. Even untuned it is more powerful than my tuned 6.4 from a torque perspective. When it comes to the noise level inside the cab, I don't even hear a difference between the diesel and a gas model anymore.
