found this last night looking for ideas..... the link said 8" lift with 37's??????? it doesnt look like it but you never know. Anyways does anybody know who makes the wheeks i really like them?
Yes those are Addicts. They don't make them anymore. They do offer a close option.
You guys talking about the lug centric wheels...I just got a set of moto metals and it freaked me out, I thought they didn't fit at first. I could swear that when I use to have Fuels they were hub centric.
Yeah. Funny thing actually on my dad's 09 ram 1500 i did the brakes on yesterday it was lug centric. Also it had a front and rear 4 link set up with coils...got a little jealous until i realized how awesome mine was again lol.
Is anybody riding on the Ballistic's Jester? I'm thinking of getting a set of 17x9 for mine and was wondering if anybody here has had them and what they thought of them. And of course with a set of Cooper ATPs 285/70/17, best tires I've had yet.
Depends, some wheel manufactures sell open center caps so you can access the hubs but others don't, my monsters cover my hubs but what I'm doing instead is leaving them locked and just turning on the transfer case when i need it this winter. It's also keeping everything moving so that they don't freeze up on me like they did before. If i was to get a set of winter rims though i would either drill a hole in the center cap or get a set that can come with open center caps. Also with that said though you can technically remove the center cap in the winter.
mine have a plastic cap and i keep the allen wrench in the glove box if i needed to pop them off. luckily my auto hubs still work perfectly...(weird right??) so during the summer it doesn't bother me because if i think i'm going to need 4x4 i just shift in and the autos kick in and i dont have to worry.
Wish I didn't have to replace my autos every two years lol otherwise I'd be in the same boat as you ex. One thing you can do is if your dead set on keeping the know exposed is drill a small hole and use a fork shaped tool to turn the knows or drill a large hole so you can use your hand...or remove it in the Winter. I just left mine and if it's gonna snow I pull the cap twist the know and put the cap back on until the snow is all done falling
