Did you do the paint? I like that color!
I am picking a similar one up tomorrow. Its used, black and not quite as nice as that one, but its cheep and will do the job i want it for. I am just not sure if I want to keep it black or try to color match to the trim, we'll see after I put it on.

I bought and installed 4 led rocker switches, wired the one for my high idle mod. Drunk a couple adult beverages, and noticed that my switches were 16amp and I wont be able to do my heated mirror mod with a 16 amp switch.
. So now i'm going to have to figure somthing else out. Any marvel ideas?

outside of getting new ones and re-purposing the 16A in another project ?

Just some random hillbilly ideas here but... one mirror per switch? or if they are not all ready breaker switches, install some 14A breakers before the switch and hope they stay defrosted until the breaker resets.

You need to be using relays. Switch just controls the coil on the relay (200mA) the relay handles the high amperage load (ie 30-40 Amps). Get a 40A SPST relay and socket. Switch controls power to coil pin 86, pin 85 to ground, pin 87 to fused 12V supply, pin 30 to load (ie mirrors)
Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT), Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) Automotive Relays
Relay Diagrams - Connecting Additional Devices to the Remote Turn On Wire

Hope this helps

Ahh, thankyou. I never thought of that. Well now that makes me feel alot better. I sure didnt want to have to remove the switches, because they look great, actually you would think the truck came with them. Again thanks alot.

Lightbulb Adapt Improvise and Overcome!

Found a Brush / Grill Guard on Craigs list for $40 so I had to jump on it.
Wanted on just wasn't on priority list.
there was just one hitch that damn thing is heavy! My brother just moved to Colorado, Dads visiting friends Alabama, and I don't know these neighbors. Nor do I have an engine hoist sooo whats a brotha to do.. well ill tell ya!

how to Adapt Improvise and Overcome in 10 easy steps

1) find you rigging gear
2) find a Tree that is strong enough to hold the weight and swing forces
3) throw the rope over the branch
4) back truck with the guard in bed to rope
5) rig the thing up in the back of your truck
6) Pull away and line up the front of the Truck to it

7) Lower it to line up holes

8) Bolt it up!
9) admire you work
