I think you should keep it as a spare, like you said it's not going to be driven hard or anything mostly street so I don't think you will be needing a spare, but it won't hurt to have it.

I'd have shwabbies or some other shop put a patch under it and roll it as a spare. Worst case, the aidewalls might be stiff enput to roll it mostly flat till you get home or a place to fix it.

My brother had 38" thornbirds on an 84 bronco and he drove it home with one totally flat. The sidewall was stiff enough to hold it up though.

The aforementioned 84. Im pretty sure they were 38"s. Non lifted either. He ran those till the tread was almost gone before trading those and the truck for a jetta.

Got the back seats and the driver seat installed today, the front passenger seat is at the upholstery shop getting the bolsters built up, they were a little flat.

Plenty of leg room, the driver seat is in the position it will be in when I drive.

I was thinking the other day how I thought I would be much older before I was able to do a frame off, I have been pretty fortunate.

I'm hoping to do my 79 in a few years. I'll need to pick up a new frame, mine has been hacked and cobbled to fit the motor. I hate when people try to do shot they have no idea what they are doing.

You have done am amazing job! Can't wait to do my own build thread someday.

Looking forward to the finished product!!

What motor is in yours again? I thought it was a built 460 block right? Shouldn't need to hack the frame up...

yeah, 520 stroker Dylan.

The previous owner cut the frame horns off that held the original engine, made their own mounts. It's in there solid, but it's also sitting lower than it should be. I found a frame, just working out the details.....

This weeks update, the door handles and bumper came back today, they look amazing!

The passenger seat also is finished, I ran the power to the seats, the console and the USB for the console then installed the passenger seat. All the seats need a good scrubbing, but man they are nice.

Short update, I did get a lot done this weekend but not really many pic worthy work.
I spent a lot of time on wiring and electrical, I got a new battery and the stereo head unit is in and functioning. Once I get the radiator back tomorrow and fill the engine with fluids it is ready to start!!!
Also got the booster and master cylinder in, I had to lengthen the rod by 1 3/8".

The head unit is real nice, it has been a long time since I installed a 2 ****, I forgot what a pain in the *** they are.

Tested all of the electrical components, wipers (I installed an intermittent kit), rear window, lights, AC fan (the fan from the Nostalgic set up is real strong). Everything works, amazing. Still need to wire the fuel pump and relay and will most likely do a 3g swap.

Looking great Dave. Not many people would have the patience to keep up with this build as you have. It's going to be show quality when you're finished.
