Been doing some block sanding, found some low spots I missed, that is the whole point i suppose!

Getting very close, should be able to finish up the block sanding and seal it this weekend.
Hope to paint it over Thanksgiving weekend!!

Still got a lot of work to do though, haven't done much with the hood and still have to get the dash ready too.
The hoods on these things are damn big.

When you finish sanding on yours, you can come over and start on mine.

Can't wait to see that beast painted.

I was able to get 2 coats of base sprayed today after pulling out of the garage and washing it, thanks for the help Greg!
The base went down great, I really like this Matrix System paint.

The body definitely isn't perfect, but my first job of this size I am happy with it.
I will be spraying the pearl tomorrow night after work.

There are definitely flaws, but I can live with them since I am not paying $5k for the paint job!

Well the color is down!!

Laid down really nice, has some orange peel, of coarse, that was expected.
I still have to clear the hood, but the base and pearl are sprayed on that.
The rest of the Bronco has 2 coats base, 3 coats pearl and 2 coats clear.

Here is the result after wet sanding from 1200 to 4000 grit, then buffing, I am ecstatic with the finish.
I have wet sanded the whole body, still have to do the hood, I have only buffed this quarter so far.
