01 expedition 4.6 - 73k

 

07 F150 supercrew,5.4,150k,regular maintenance,perfect condition, daily driver.I am the 2nd ownerand have had it for 2 years.

 

Last Truck: 2001 F150 XLT 5.4L...purchased in 2007 w/ 59,000 miles...ran it until two weeks ago. (June 2013) Traded it in with 130,000 miles. Never had a single problem with it, except for needing to add a quart between oil changes towards the end. Loved how it ran, and how that model year handled...but living in NW PA takes a toll on vehicles (Rust).

New Truck: 2006 F150 XLT 5.4L...it has 65,000 miles and runs like a champ.

 

I recently purchased a 2004 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 5.4 Liter Triton it has some nice 35'' Mickey Thompson all terrain Baja tires . it drives really good & looks just as good but according to my display , I am only getting 10.2 mpg & it's hurting .. another thing my check fuel cap light has come on I've already replaced it but it continues to come on .. have no idea why ??

 

almost 92k miles on my 1998 5.4 expedition runs like a top!

my grandfather has almost 72k miles on his 2004 5.4 f-150 without any issues.

 

It has 131,000 miles runs great with the exception of the 10.2 mpg .....

Maintain the hell out it. Just had all, and I mean all, fluids changed. Love my truck!

My 2004 F-150 5.4L Crew Cab Short Box with full tow package now has 176,000Kms/106,000Mi and the only concern I have is the ticking in the engine at idle. Does anyone have any feedback on that engine noise?

check for broken exhaust manifold studs

 

186000 1997 f150 4.6l 4x4 runs like new. has the tick but it goes away so i really don't care. have replaced wires and plugs. put in bars head gasket fix, water pump, new oil pressure sensor, shocks, probably some stuff i am forgeting but stuff happens. my truck runs perfect. not a whole lot of power with the 4.6 but it still pulls muy camper and boat.

 

i had a 2000 e-250 cargo van 5.4, 375 000 km's and still running great when i sold it. 2001 f-250 super duty with 5.4, 245 000 km's still goin strong as well, just has some cold start issues.

 

the parts truck i picked up has 246,000 miles on it.
the county sold it with a bad engine. the knock they said was in the engine was a broken flex plate.
engine runs great still.

 

I have a 99 f250 ext. cab with a 4.6 and automatic trans. It has 278543 miles. was running great, until yesterday when I believe I lost a head gasket. maybe a intake gasket. But neither the least going to fix it because their is a whole bunch of miles left in that motor.

 

05 Expy with the 5.4 3V. 123k, no major problems. Had one fuel injector bite the dust, but the extended warranty took care of repairs. Bought it with 52k in 07 and the motor has always been noisy.

Last truck was a 99 Expy with the 5.4 2V. Sold it to a friend with 191k. It now has 250k and running strong! Only thing he has repaired is one COP and replaced a cat.
