ther are a few places that make kits. you can use the stock dodge auto tranny, the torqshift out of a ford, the 4r100 out of a ford, the allison out of a chevy, or practically any manual. what do you pan to do with the truck and what are your spending limits? ideally you would use the dodge motor tranny and tcase if 4x4 to be more simplified.

they make kits also but their customer service sucks I called them at leas 10 times and never got to talk to anyone
I made my own parts and am doing the conversion t
If you stay with a dodge tranny you have at least 700 $ that you don't have to spend on adapters
if you go with a manual that is my choice you can go with the nv4500 or the 5600 then no adapter plates get a ford clutch pedal and master use the dodge slave
I have a ton of info pm me and I will send it to you
conversion options and what will have to be changed
cummins 24v - trans 47re will need a controller and you will have a 241dhd
if you use the nv4500 you ca use the 241dhd t case or the 271-273 and change the input shaft
the nv5600 you can use the np 271-273
