Hey guys, I recently purchased a 1989 f350 cab/chassis dump truck but it doesn't have a functional trailer hitch, its got a bent up old receiver hitch. I would like to have a hitch plate made, like most dump trucks have, but I can't seem to find anyone to do it.

I want to make sure they know what they are doing, and have experience in making these and welding truck frames. Anyone know of somebody in the MA,CT,NY,VT area that is skilled in this area? I appreciate any help, I have been searching online and forums for days and can only find people out west.

I post a picture of the back of the truck tomorrow, its a total mess of stuff....wires, lights, back up alarm and a rusty old trailer hitch. Needs to be cleaned up re-wired and possibly the end of the frame straightened looks a little tweaked.

 

Do a welding search under the skilled trade section on your local craigslist, lots of guys on their advertising their welding services at good prices.
