The '79 just got a fresh coat of black paint, should have it back sometime this week...the new 460 I'm building is still in the shop, should probably be starting in on that within the next week. I need to re-do the power steering and, I hate to, but I think I'm goin to replace the 16.5" slotted mags with some 16 or 17" classic II's. After all of that....she oughta be roadworthy enough to make a trip that far. I hate to admit it but the '09 daily driver has been traded....the Ripley to Charleston commute was starting to cut into my '79's budget. Got a '12 Taurus SEL....nice car, hard to get used to driving a car everyday, but at least it's a Ford!
I made the drive 4 days a week most of last year. Worked on the new armory in ravenswood then the Armstrong plant up the road from it. Sometimes the wife and i pass through the area on our random drives. We take off and go wherever we wind up. Nice to have someone so close to home join. Hope to see them out and about soon.
