Getting A 08-12 f250 6.4

There are lots of things people will tell you but a key point is
08-10 was the 6.4
11-current is the new 6.7.
Depending on your budget, as a previous 6.4 owner, I highly recommend seeing if the 6.7 will fit into your budget. You will be far less inclined to do the deletes b/c the powertrain operates so much better with the emissions package.

You need to undersand the emissions system to a degree. That will help in your understanding on how to maintain it.
Also I will require a bit more maintance then a gas motor.
You also will need to consider your use in a diesel vs gas motor. Due to the fact that it is a diesel, long runs heavy pulling will help it to run the best with the fewest of issues.
So why are you consider moving from the F150? How will you use the truck if you do make the move?
