Any one seen these before?
Any one seen these before? I was helping a buddy tear down a 78 F150 for the junk yard and this was sitting in the glove box. We had a short argument over what it might have been for. I clipped it to the visor and it seemed like a rite fit. He swore it looked like a tinting deal for the rear veiw mirror. Its has the 2 clips that will spead out to fit over a rear veiw mirror but its a rough fit. It slides rite onto the sun visor, so thats why Im asking if any one else has seen them. Unfortuatley it got broke and its a disapointment to me as I was going to clean it up and use it one mine when I get it done.

I believe that would sit on the visor towards the center to help reduce glare from the sun in between the visors, also when using it on the side windows it would block a bit more sun. Or maybe you both were right, it might hang behind the mirror just for that spot. I doubt you would want to look thru it into the sun at the road ahead of you though

It is a glare reduction visor and as you suspected it is clipped on the sun visor and flipped down as needed. I used one for years while driving the tow truck when the sun was at that point during rising and setting that it hit you right in the eyes.
I believe you can still pick them up in JC Whitney and in most of the large truck stops.
